Membership is open to any descendant of a male or female Whipple.

To apply for membership, send application and application fee of $5.00 (non-refundable) to the Association secretary. Upon verification of data and approval by the officers of the Association you will receive notification of acceptance, at which time the appropriate membership fee is due.

Full membership is available to those who can prove their lineage to John Whipple of Ipswich, MA , Matthew Whipple of Ipswich, MA, or Capt. John Whipple of Dorchester, MA/Providence, RI. Full members will have voting rights at annual meetings and be eligible to hold office.

Associate membership is available to those who can prove their lineage to a Whipple, but have been unable to connect to one of the three immigrants listed above. Associate members will not have voting rights or be eligible to hold office.

Membership Fees

Full Membership $30.00 per year

Associate Membership $20.00 per year

Payment of annual dues entitle members to receive copies of the newsletter for the year paid as part of their membership fee.

Libraries, genealogical and historical societies and other institutions or organizations, upon request and approval of the officers, can obtain a subscription to the newsletter for an annual fee of $10.00.
