EDSON WHIPPLE

Edson Whipple accompanied Mormon pioneer Brigham Young on his first journey to the Salt Lake Valley in 1847. Edson's writings were submitted to the Whipple Website by Charles Tyrrel Whipple (CharlesT@Whipple.net). The pages were transcribed in 1978 by Charles' aunt, Alzada Whipple Stratton, from the journal of Edson, her grandfather.
