Samuel A. was a son of Daniel and Lucy (Wilder) Spooner of Heath, MA, and grandson of Shearjashub and Susanna {sic} (Whipple) Spooner of Heath, gr.grandson of Daniel and Elizabeth (Ruggles) Spooner of Petersham, MA. Daniel S. lived to the age of 104 years; his wife was a daughter of Benjamin and Elizabeth Ruggles of Rochester, MA.
